Our team of experts specializes in breast imaging to provide the most advanced breast care available. Your examination is performed by experienced mammography and ultrasound technologists, and interpreted by our board-certified, breast fellowship-trained, highly experienced, specialized radiologists—all of whom put your care and comfort first.
The Anne C. Pappas Center for Breast Imaging at Rhode Island Hospital has earned the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designation from the American College of Radiology. The designation requires accreditation in all areas of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and breast biopsy. It reflects our commitment to providing the highest levels of care and our dedication to improving women’s health. In addition to achieving state-of-the art clinical care, our radiologists are nationally recognized leaders through their research and their work in academic medicine.

The Anne C. Pappas Center for Breast Imaging is expanding to 146 West River Street in Providence. The new location provides the same excellent care, state-of-the-art equipment, and experienced technologists in a new convenient space.

State-of-the-Art Technology
Anne C Pappas Center is now offering non-wire localizations for eligible surgical patients. With Magseed, patients won’t be able to feel the seed once it’s in place. They can return to normal daily life and eliminate delays to the operating room on the day of surgery.
